Welcome to Abiding Savior Lutheran Church. We are a family that seeks to communicate the love of Jesus Christ to everyone, everywhere and our love for Him. We are a church that has been around since 1967. We are newborn babies, 102 years old, and every age in between. We are a community that gathers for worship, for Bible Study, for mission trips, for meals (lots of meals!), for encouragement and for fun. We are an Early Childhood Center that provides a loving start to learning. We are a Christian Day School that has educated thousands of children with knowledge as well as hope. We are real people, just like you, who have good days and bad days, who need a message of forgiveness and hope. We are friends who pray for one another, support each other and celebrate together. We are united together in Christ, and we are waiting for you to be a part of the family here at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church.

Jesus said:
Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. John 15:4
We want you to be part of our community so that you can grow and bear fruit with us, regardless of whether you are newly exploring the Christian faith or whether you have already lived a long life abiding in Christ.
We don’t want to be a church for you to "go to", but rather we want to be a church for you to be a part of. In other words:
As a church we exist to help you grow in your relationship with Christ so that he can produce in you the fruits that he desires.
No Pray'n, no Gain

To one degree or other none of us pray as we ought. We'd like to help you improve your prayer life, and we have a specific suggestion and offer for you.
It is interesting that Jesus valued praying with others. Often, most of us end up praying alone (if at all). Solitary prayer is beneficial and God-pleasing, but praying with others brings about several other benefits, not the least of which is that praying with someone else edifies that other person too.
We suggest that you intentionally pray with someone else at least weekly. If you would like for us to put you in contact with someone who is also looking to pray with someone else, please This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it to send us a quick note. We will then reply with contact information for a person who would like to be your "prayer partner".
For some thought-provoking insights on prayer we'd also suggest you take a look at Power Through Prayer by E. M. Bounds.
